AMPERE Project Showcases Real-time Scheduling and Power-aware Optimization Techniques at 5th OSPM Summit
Experts in power management and scheduling techniques in the Linux kernel will convene at the 5th OSPM Summit, where Tommaso Cuccinotta, from Ampere partner Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna, will be among the presenters. The summit aims to discuss scheduler techniques that can reduce energy consumption while still maintaining the required performance and latency. Take a look at the event
Ampere partners will give talks on their findings, including "Results from using SCHED_DEADLINE for energy-aware optimization of RT DAGs on heterogeneous hardware" and "SCHED_DEADLINE meets DVFS: issues and a possible solution". These topics relate to the real-time scheduling and power-aware optimization techniques developed and enhanced as part of the AMPERE project.
Tommaso Cuccinotta, in particular, will present key results from the AMPERE project, focusing on the use of SCHED_DEADLINE for energy-aware optimization of RT DAGs on heterogeneous hardware. Gabriele Ara will also present on "SCHED_DEADLINE meets DVFS: issues and a possible solution". These presentations will demonstrate the advancements made in real-time scheduling and power-aware optimization as part of the AMPERE project.
